Alley to El Escorial Spain

Description:

This alley leads to El Escorial or exactly Real Sitio de San Lorenzo de El Escorial is the biggest monastery and also the biggest renaissance building worldwide. It was built in the 16th century under king Philip II. of Spain. For a small part of the year it was also the royal palace. It has 2000 rooms, 2673 windows, 16 courts, 12 cloisters, 88 fountains, 86 staircases and the base area has 355,000 squarefeet. Since 1984 it is an UNESCO World Heritage Site.


Aranjuez Castle Spain

Description:

Aranjuez castle in central Spain is the summer residence of the Spanish kings. It is UNESCO World Heritage Site.


Alcala De Henares University 4

Description:

The university of Alcala de Henares near Madrid is one of the oldest worldwide. She was founded in 1293 and is an UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Description:

The castle of Aranjuez is the summer residence of the Sanish kings. It is situated south of Madrid near Toledo. It is an UNESCO World Heritage Site.
